Since the start of Amazing Lanzarote journey last year I have met so many fantastic people that are in love with Lanzarote like myself, we talk about our Lanzarote experience and share different information about the Island. I thought would be great to share some of the lovely stories with all Amazing Lanzarote Friends that have been travelling or living there for years. Would be also nice to share the stories with people that are planning to visit Lanzarote for the first time and see how passionate we all are about the magnificent Canary Island and why is it such a perfect holiday destination.
Nora from Germany has shared her story with us. She has been travelling to the Island with her family as a child since 1998 , to date Nora has been there already 9 times and is planning many more visits.

Why I love Lanzarote? When you arrive with your plane at the airport you experience the first incredible moment of your holidays. The aircraft flys at a very low level above the ocean and the beach and it is a very spectacular landing.
Then you get off the plane an get a look around. You can see the first beautiful view of the incredible landscape of Lanzarote and you can smell and feel the clean air, the ocean and the sun.
The two things I love the most are driving alongside with your favorite persons in the car, exploring the island and it's specials while enjoying the breathtaking view of the volcanoes, the cliffs, the villages or the beaches.
The second thing is to borrow a bike at the beach and cycle around the promenade. You can drive beside the ocean the whole route from Playa Honda over the airport to Puerto del Carmen. Meanwhile you can enjoy the sun, the beaches and the people and you can stop here and there to go shopping or have a drink.
The Island is so versatile and has a lot to offer beside just laying by the pool or the beach. The local people are very kind and lovely. It is simply a place to feel good.
