It's the most lively resort on the island with a large selection of restaurants, bars and shops so plenty of choice for every tourist. It's located only 15 minutes taxi drive from the airport so it's ideal. The town is divided into two parts: Old Town (The Harbour) and New Town. If you like lively bars, restaurants, shopping and lovely sea views the famous strip Avenida de las Playas in the New Town is the choice for you, if you prefer quieter surroundings the Old Town (The Harbour) area is well recommended with amazing restaurants and breathtaking views.Our favourite beach is Playa Chica in the Old Town which is brilliant for snorkelling and diving. We also love the main Playa Granda beach.

Another beautiful resort which is situated on the south of the island. When staying in Puerto Del Carmen we always get the bus that takes approximately 30 minutes and costs only €2.75 one way.Check out here\ http://bit.ly/1Rwtg9T for bus stop locations and timetable. The transfer time from the airport by taxi is approximately 30 minutes and about €40.00. The famous Playa Flamingo beach (white sand beach) is our favourite place in this resort. You can also take a trip to Fuerteventura by ferry, it takes only 30 minutes so well worth a visit.
